This week I did research into common methods of building nuclear fusors at home, and found some designs from people who have built nuclear fusors in the past. I linked them in my research document , and began compiling a list of parts that I am going to need to buy, as looking into the safety concerns regarding the project, so that I can safely build and then run the fusor. I also went to some stores to look for parts and to see if they have what I need. Next week, I hope to finish a parts list, and sketch some preliminary designs for the fusor that I am going to build, and hopefully have Mr. Scheidly look at it and verify that it would work, as well as helping me resolve any issues with my design. I also need to talk to Mr. Brunner or Mr. Muscarella about using the woodshop to build the fusor.

Action Plan This week I spent time researching the concepts behind a nuclear fusor, and adding it to my research document linked  here . By understanding the concepts behind a fusor, it'll be easier for me to construct the fusor, and troubleshoot any potential issues with the first design. Next week I hope to spend more time researching the physics behind a fusor, start researching designs and possibly begin my own design.
